There are people in this world who share their kind hearts without a second thought. When you know one of these special souls, you are lucky indeed. Their kindness encourages others to “think” with their hearts and “act” without hesitation.

My dear friend, Charlean, is certainly part of that select club. She runs “Old Barkers Farm Senior Sanctuary” with her beautiful heart. At this wonderful venue, old pups can live out their lives when the world has thrown them a curveball. They are surrounded with an incredible home and yard, other senior dogs and Charlean’s loving presence. They are truly happy.

Hearing that our sweet Lilly was having some struggles, she sent a Care Package just for her. It was full of lovely temptations for our finicky girl. She devoured two treats right away! She might share with her brothers, but that remains to be seen!

Selfless, giving individuals not only touch the lives of those they gift with their “presents” or “presence”, they are living models of what we can hope to be. As they make the world a better place, they are observed by others who realize the value and joy that is possible if you give of yourself.

The world needs more Charleans who bring such kindness to this world. Lilly thanks you. I thank you. We can actually feel the earth tilt a bit towards kindness because of you.
