Day 1268

In an attempt to capture an image for our Christmas card, we had a short photo shoot this afternoon. It was three against one (Mommy) and, after NUMEROUS pictures, it was decided that backup will be needed!

The Golden Boys were trying everything they could think of to understand my direction, but comically, failed. I would call for their attention and Sam would jump ‘front and center’ with no regard to including his brothers in the picture. One would bark while the other two would start wrestling! Ranger decided plop down while his little brothers counseled a passing pup. Finally, I just started laughing and aborted the entire idea!

Laughter is such good medicine! I am not sure if it is the “best medicine," but it certainly beats frustration and angst! When working with three furry subjects, it is certainly a good idea to have a plan A as well as Plans B, C, D and beyond!

Now, I have a new idea for the Christmas shoot, so stay tuned! The next photo shoot will include MANY helping hands and lots of patience!
