Day 1300

With the cold, we Minnesotans have a 6th sense about staying warm. Evidently, our Goldens have that same intuition and run outside for a moment only to run back in to snuggle in the warmth. As they say in the South… "this ain't our first rodeo!"

Tonight, the actual temperature is predicted to be around -15 degrees. With the windchill at -26 degrees, most of us would snuggle in like Sammy! However, thete is something luring us and our neighbors into the cold and it won’t be ignored. The Annual Christian Hill Progressive Dinner is tonight!

Going from home to home for different dining courses is such a lovely tradition! Visiting and catching up with the lives of our neighbors is truly a gift. There are also those we love who will be missing for various reasons. These loved ones added their own “seasoning” through the years and those memories linger. They are never forgotten…

So, out into the frigid night we all go! There’s a good chance we won’t even feel the chill because the camaraderie will keep us warm.
