Day 1172

Today was a huge day for our Sam!!!!! After preparing through classes, tests, observations and other training/assessing experiences, our boy became a Therapy Dog! We celebrated with people we admire and love! It was a special moment!

Our beloved Harmonica Man, and his sweet daughter, joined the celebration! We all marveled at his progress and reminisced about his WILD puppy days! There were times when I lost an ounce of faith in him, but he would do something to remind me he was destined to be a a Therapy Dog! I am so very thankful that we persevered!

There have been people in my life who have made me question their dreams, but I never lost faith! Even though their journeys have twisted and turned a bit, I still believe!

To be honest, there have undoubtedly been those who have looked at my goals and thought, “She will not succeed!” I have mostly proved them wrong.

The worst questioning is in doubting yourself. That has certainly been my plight from time-to-time. Even though my fortitude has wavered, I have been surrounded by the best “cheerleaders” around! They have bolstered my sagging self-worth more times than I can count! I am a lucky girl!

Today, we celebrate a worthy star! Although there were doubts, he proved us wrong! Congratulations, Sammy! You are going to make this world a better place!
