It’s that time of year again!!! It is time for “CREEPY CAMP”!!!

When Asher was little, he attended a pre-school which had amazing camps during the summer months. There was ‘Space Camp,’ ‘Ocean Camp’ and a few others. After enjoying a couple of them, he came home and asked, “When is Creepy Camp???” Of course, after restrained mirth from the adults, Nanny and Papa needed to create the first camp of scary happenings. There is always dinner, frightening activities, scary music, pumpkins galore, a car ride to view the yard decorations and Halloween treats. What a night!

It seems to me that creating celebrations around regular activities, semi-special days and even creative questions is what makes wonderful memories. It is fun to be on the planning end AND the celebration end! Living in “The Halloween Capital of the World,” Creepy Camp was a natural choice!

Grandchildren are such a gift on so many levels. One of those would be seeing the world through their shining eyes. The world shifts, people come and go and children grow up. However, what always remains are the memories. So, here’s to another Creepy Camp! I can’t wait!
