Day 1283

There are a few faces in my life that can get by with just about anything. Becoming upset with them is out of the question… they can do no wrong in my eyes!!! How did they gain that status???

My dogs, Asher, and a very limited groip of adults are part of that club. All of them have one thing in common…innocence . Their pure intent towards me and others harbors no ill-intent or selfishness. They are pure goodness in their interactions with me and I cherish them beyond measure. Of course, it takes years to build the trust and devotion, but it is worth the time and effort to create that bond.

As I count my blessings with these trusted two and four-legged friends, I also look to my own cadre of connected ones who seem to feel that way about me. As undeserving as I may be, there are a few who believe in me and my goal is to never disappoint them. Of course, I don’t always live up to their belief in me, but I certainly try!

Being more Golden certainly fits here! Just be void of conceit, selfishness, manipulation and meanness and you are on the right path. The Golden Boys love me no matter what, so all I need to do is follow their lead and learn from the best!
