This boy absolutely loves to read with children AND the kids adore our big guy! Ranger will even place a paw on someone’s knee or arm as if to thank them for spending their time with him. He is loved.

A dog’s ability to be present is a gift. When a struggling reader pushes themselves to share a story with Ranger, his constant attention, lack of judgment and soft fur is the perfect medicine. With our Golden snuggled in, there has never been a child that leaves without a smile and a feeling of success.

In all life’s challenges, the “Ranger Treatment” should truly be utilized. Whether the issue is your burden or a loved one’s, lack of judgment, heartfelt attention to the problem and a gentle presence can really be a support. When I have encountered a roadblock, having that supporter right there to encourage and hold my hand means the world!

Challenges can also be softened by a warm paw or a Golden friend at your side. I do believe Ranger’s young reading friends would agree with me!
