Day 1315
Our eldest Golden, Ranger, has mastered the art of relaxation, effortlessly drifting off to sleep anywhere. I admire his ability to unwind... Whenever I sit down to enjoy a magazine, my mind starts buzzing with possibilities...
“What new recipe can I try for supper?"
“How can I quickly refresh this room?”
“Do the pups need to go outside?”
Fighting the urge to rise and deal with my brain’s demands, I recently scrolled on Facebook and discovered a Content Creator who plays his guitar and sings to wild animals (Check out “Plume”). If it works for tigers, it should work for me!
Playing music while I write, read or close my eyes in repose, has helped me relax and rest. Music is truly magical in the way it lures us in and calms the “savage beast!” I used to dream of having a soundtrack that would follow my life with the appropriate music softly adding depth to my experiences. That would be amazing!
My pups seem to love music. The Golden Boys will come running when I sit down at the piano. We have even moved dog beds into the front hall so the boys can truly relax…and they do!
Music is magic! It can calm, excite, emote and touch our hearts in a mysterious way. Right now, I should really vacuum. Perhaps I should put on “The William Tell Overture” to accompany my activity!
