Day 1327
There are times when you simply have to listen to your inner voice. It might start out as a whisper, but some messages just keep getting louder and more insistent.
Sweet Gus has been displaying a number of slightly noticeable symptoms (skin irritations, lethargy, droopy face, unexplained weight gain) that were hardly noticeable. Still, it weighed on my mind and heart. Reading some articles, I called the veterinary clinic and requested a thyroid test. Sure enough…it was off the chart at the low end. Poor Buddy. We have been assured that a new prescription will make the symptoms disappear. We are thankful.
There have been more than a few times when intuition has guided me down an unexpected path. Once the inner voice was acknowledged and respected, that path always led to decisions and actions that made a positive impact on someone’s life…even my own.
Listen to that voice within. Honoring it will lead you down a path you won’t regret. Your subconscious never sleeps and will guide you in the right direction. Gus will be glad his mama listened to her own small voice.
