Day 1372. “Walking With Goldens”

We had the privilege of sharing an unforgettable experience with two dear loved ones. Our daughter, Amanda, and her husband, Matt, treated us to a unique glass-blowing adventure on Valentine's Day. Under the expert guidance of instructor Mitch, we transformed molten glass into breathtaking creations, discovering the incredible process from start to finish. What an adventure! Great, beloved company cheered us on, and the project actually looked like a heart!

New experiences can be amazing opportunities for growth and enjoyment. As someone who is slightly timid, adventurous experiences are typically not part of my life. However, when they are offered, I grab the opportunity before I can talk myself out of it! They never disappoint!

For example, swimming with sea turtles off the coast of Maui, the same duo of adventurers encouraged me to jump in with both flippers and no fear. It was surreal and memorable beyond imagination. I am so grateful for this new experience…it made me want that feeling of “new experiences” again and again!
