Day 1417

Sam loves the puppies!

Sam is gentle with Hank and Charlie!

Sam is beside himself with jealousy!

You see, he is no longer the baby…there are two new ones! These interlopers are adorable and can seemingly do no wrong! Poor Sammy!

Of course, his mama gives him tons of attention, but he sees her loving up the pups and his jealousy knows no bounds!

Admittedly, Charlie and Hank are CUTE and SWEET, but so are the other three boys. In particular, Sammy gets morning snuggles and a private walk with his mom and also benefits from free access through The Big White House. Where his mama ventures, he is at her heels. He is still a sad boy.

Throughout life, we all have to focus on different things and people. Perhaps there is a parent in need of extra love, a friend who needs some TLC, a child with activities/commitments that consume our time. Our jobs are often demanding. Whatever the cause, there are things that need our attention.

For Sammy, it’s just going to take time for him to realize he still holds his mama’s heart. For all those who feel slighted, we simply need to take a little extra time to convince them that they matter.

Take the 30 seconds to let someone know they are still important in your life. Sammy would say that’s not enough, but it’s a start!
