Day 1437

Curiosity is a “curious” thing. The continuum flows from nosy to blasé. Some individuals have a real desire to know every little thing while others are content with embracing their hermit-like existence. It seems people must have those tendencies at birth.

The Golden Boys are not so different! The order would be…

Sam: voracious in his questioning

Gus: questions much, but enjoys the bark more

Charlie: wildly and timidly curious about his new world

Hank: easy going, but watches his brother for cues

Ranger: wise, wonderful and content

People’s curiosity ranges the gambit from Sam to Ranger as well. There are people in my world who MUST know the answers and others who have no drive to the uncover the answer to a good mystery. I tend to fall somewhere in the middle.

It amuses me that there is a lazy element to my curiosity. In the past, I would “wonder” and then let it go if the answer didn’t appear in a comfortable time frame. Now, I immediately go to Google for my answer. I am still working on the retention of knowledge part so that dear Alexa doesn’t get miffed!

Curiosity leads to questions and the need for answers. I think I will ask Alexa why that is!
