egging has become a Golden “Art” at the Big White House! As Daddy enjoys his lunch in front of the first football game of the season, his “foody fans” are cheering him on! There are times when I marvel at their restraint as they could easily gang up and devour the meal in 3.5 seconds!

Our pups usually get what they want by simply giving us a look. Although that doesn’t always work in the Human World, there are a few exceptions! For example, there is the “Teacher Look”…

Back when I was spending a huge part of my life in an elementary school, my facial expressions certainly mattered:

*The Surprised Look: typically effective when a student made a poor choice. Instant about-face was the result.

*The Stare: if held long enough, the student would crumble and choose an alternate behavior.

*The Knowing Smile: when paired with proximity to the offender, “squelching” of behavior was instantaneous!

The list goes on accompanied by rewarding expressions for great choices. However, the “Golden Stare” would have been a wonderful secret weapon for classroom control! They would have been putty in my hands!

Well, the “Golden Look” has pivoted my way and I believe all they want is affection and attention. You can only imagine my look of love directed their way.
