Day 1566

It was my privilege to attend the wedding of two lovely seniors from Walker. Miss Lilly, Ranger, Gus and Sam brought these people into my life and I am grateful. Being asked to be the “Best Woman” for the groom was such an honor and I know two things for certain…they love each other and they will not be lonely now. They are such an adorable couple.

Speaking of “seniors,” my two youngest (twins) turned 36 today and I vacillate between feeling like they were born yesterday and dealing with the fact that I am twice their age! Such a celebration of two amazing humans! Ranger and Lilly were placed into their hands when we picked them up as puppies. Believing we were only getting one puppy, the twins were overjoyed to bring two home…twins for our twins!

As lovely as these two celebrations are, I feel I must also share my sadness at the passing of Tucker Budzyn. This amazing Golden was adored by millions of fans (me included) and undoubtedly helped countless people by bringing joy through his videos. My heart goes out to Courtney (Linda) as she navigates this loss and tries to mend her heart. It is impossibly heartbreaking to lose a beloved pet, but this guy belonged to all of us.

So, tears of joy mix with tears of sadness. Often, that is life.
