Day 1581

Relax, nap, rejuvenate…why is it so hard to make time for those activities? I visualize snuggling under a cozy blanket with a book in one hand while another grips a mug of steaming coffee. Sadly, it doesn’t happen. The pups need to eat and exercise, the wash needs tending, shopping for groceries looms… the list is long!

Having said that, I am full of gratitude for all of these “opportunities,” but the blanket stays folded on the chair. No regrets, but the list is waiting with additions constantly being added.

Digging into that list with vigor, I received a text from my daughter. She invited me to walk by the river with Asher and visit a couple shops downtown. That list was history! I will choose family every time!

So, “the list” was delayed but was waiting for my return. Embracing it, I looked longingly at that blanket and turned away. Soon…

Time to feed the Golden Boys.
