Yes…I am one of those “Christmas Loving People” who has begun the season already! As the Halloween decorations get stored, the Christmas treasures begin to appear. The first tree to emerge is Asher’s in the sunroom.
I did have some “help” from the Golden Boys…Charlie and Hank got their paws on a couple ornaments which had to be “retired” before they had a chance to hang on the tree! The puppies showed no remorse.
We have placed puppy gates around our trees to safeguard presents and decorations and we have hung ornaments out of chewing range. Through the years, our dogs were not deterred. Still, we try!
Our first Golden, the sweetest boy ever, was named Arthur. He only made one mistake that I recall. After putting one of our bigger Christmas trees up, he nonchalantly walked over to the tree, sniffed and LIFTED HIS LEG!!! How could I be mad? His thoughts…

I unapologetically put my Christmas trees and decorations up right after Halloween. It is such a beautiful, magical time of year! The Christmas carols are not far behind!!
