Day 1075

We all have a choice in who we surround ourselves with on our journey. Asher and Sammy are prime examples. Their zest for life connects them and they can often be found snuggling in front of the television. Good buddies!

Of course, there are times when obligations, or family needs, are a choice made for us. When there is a foundation of love, it is not too challenging to be in their presence. We all know we may need to have those people close in the future. Consider it a down payment!

Otherwise, we all tend to surround ourselves with people who have the same interests or passions. Biking, shopping, traveling, crafting, hiking or any other activity can be the connecting link to friendship. It allows people to share their hobbies with others who appreciate it!

For me, the older I get, the more I am drawn to people “Who feel like sunshine” (thank you SF). We may not have as much in common, but they simply brighten my world and make everything seem lighter. Now, when you find those “Sunshine Friends” who also have common interests, you have won the jackpot!

Might I add that my Golden Halo fits all the definitions of “Sunshine Friends” AND they surround me no matter what I choose to do! Dogs are a choice I gladly make every day!
