Day 1076

The Goldens were walked in a speedy fashion this morning! There was someplace their Mama had to be!

I had the distinct honor and pleasure of being Asher’s guardian for a Scouting event. Although we did not camp in a tent, the day was absolutely filled with adventure, fun and learning! The leaders and other parents there, made his day exceptional!

The flag ceremony started our day, followed by hiking, archery, target shooting, lunch, organized games, an obstacle course and so much more. The adult leaders, and other parent volunteers, went above and beyond to make this ray perfect. The teaching techniques, mentorship and dedication were amazing.

The Boy Scout Oath is: "On my honor, I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake and morally straight."

The Boy Scout Oath was evident as the day unfolded. It was displayed in the loving community surrounding these Scouts. This Nanny left the festivities with hope in her heart for a great future ahead!
