Day 1111

There are times, in life, when the merry-go-round of activities, commitments, appointments and other stressors practically take your breath away. For me, a “time out” with my Golden Halo helps me to calm down and refocus for the moment. However, what happens when the “To-Do List” becomes completely out of your control? It happens to all of us.

At our Morning Meeting, Mr. Mac and I read something that resonated with both our hearts. It pertained to a gentleman walking through a metropolitan inner city while dealing with his personal, overwhelming responsibilities and decisions. As he meandered, he came upon some graffiti painted on the back of a garage. It read…

“Let the muddy water settle and then you will see clearly.”

Instead of stirring up the waters, perhaps taking a pause, allowing things to settle down, is sometimes the answer.

This is a challenge for my overactive brain and soul… but then I DO have my Goldens to help me take those quiet moments.
