Day 1415

No matter where we “land,” there are ALWAYS Goldens at our feet. Our house is a house full of dogs and, as people stop by for a visit, we tell them, “Leave your shoes on, our dogs certainly do!” Let’s just say our floors can be a bit muddy at times and the Golden Glitter can be found everywhere. Still, this is our Happy Place.

One of the many signs you will see if you stop by says:

“In this house:

We laugh…a lot

We are patient…most of the time

We tell the truth

We support each other

We hug often

We make mistakes

We always forgive

But above all

We love.”

This does not depict perfection, but describes the important things. Although patience is sometimes tested and mistakes are made, support, forgiveness and love always, ALWAYS win.

As a last resort (seldom needed), a 20 second hug fixes just about any problem from the outside world or within (TF)!

In my opinion, perfection is overrated and stands in the way of the wisdom found on the sign. If you love enough, all will be well…just ask my Goldens!
