Day 1460

Whenever I sit…wherever I sit, I am “wrapped” by at least one Golden body. I adore their trust and their need to touch. The only downside is movement. When I need to extract a foot and move, my little buddies can become unpredictable. Being averse to tripping, falling or any pain-delivering movement, I plot my course carefully. Giving them time to make their move gives me the opportunity to head towards a clear path. There have been a few incidents where my quick movements (or unthinking reactions) have caused me to tumble… neither gracefully or with athletic ability! Boom!

Now, I stand and wait while my sweet pups choose their direction. When whatever lured me away is done, I return to a chair and wait a moment. Sure enough, once seated, all five gravitate towards me and resume their “must touch Mommy” position.

Although I wouldn’t have it any other way, it does slow me down, it also allows me to keep my eyes open for any potential fuzzy tripping hazards and focus on each one and them for a bit. I feel so lucky to have these boys in my life!
