Day 1480

Today, our Gus turned five! We had Pup Cups, dog treats and a new chew toy for the Birthday Boy! He deserves to be celebrated!

It is such an honor to have people (dogs too) in your life who deserve to be celebrated! Birthdays, graduations, new jobs…you name it and I am ready with my Pom Poms to bake a cake, send a card, cheer them on or offer a gift. Letting someone know that you revel in their special moment means so much.

Being a “Fanilow” played a big part in a Bachelorette Party in Las Vegas! I was “kidnapped” by the dearest crew of teacher-friends for a surprise trip to see Barry in concert! Mr. Mac stayed with the twins and actually packed my bag! (The suitcase consisted mostly of a huge robe, jeans that didn’t fit and two shirts I hadn’t worn for ages! It was adorable!) Incredible!

That same group kidnapped me (blindfolded) and took me to a wonderful 50th Birthday Slumber Party at a nearby hotel! Incredible!

When I retired, my wonderful husband whisked me away on a whirlwind trip. WDW and Germany were the destinations! With a small window between the surprise and the first flight, I had time to pack this time!

Friends and family have always been so generous to me as I celebrate milestones in my life! With all of that love poured into me, no wonder I love to share the joy.

When someone has a reason to celebrate, don’t be afraid to ring the bells and blow the whistles! Make it a memory for a lifetime! You won’t regret it and the “honoree” will cherish the memories forever!
