Day 1595

Ranger was my “yard buddy” today as I religiously filled our yard waste bin. Seriously, why do I NEED to fill that tub every week? It is harboring on a compulsion!

As Ranger mentored me in my raking endeavors, I could almost hear him say, “Mom, why are you carting those leaves all the way over to the green thing? Why not move the big thingie over to the pile of leaves?” Why not, indeed!

Have you ever started a project and been so committed to moving forward that you don’t take a moment to revise your plan, if need be? Perhaps there is a more expedient way to do the job! My headlong push to check another thing of my list does not allow for revision. However, today, I gave it a try. It was much more efficient!

Looking for alternative ways to complete a task might just allow you to finish more quickly and check more things off that list! Now THAT sounds like a plan! Ranger would agree.
